I usually prefer to communicate through pictures, but thought it was time for a few sentences of my own for update purposes. I graduated from UALR in May with a Masters in Social Work. A two year process for the whole family. Thanks to everyone for helping out with this huge endeavor.

Following graduation, Lee and I took a trip to Chicago. We had a great time. These were my impressions of Chicago: great architecture, laid back atmosphere, great mix of green space among the buildings, pizza is only pizza if its Chicago deep dish pizza, windy, lake adds a slightly coastal feel to a metro area, interesting artistic expression indoors and out, helpful inhabitants. Overall, time well spent.

During May Lee and I also entered the land of home improvement and had our flooring completely replaced and many rooms repainted. A huge undertaking that involved arguments with the work crew and staying with Lee's parents. We're glad it's finally all completed.

In addition, I was hired by a local hospital whom I have worked for a long time to work with families whose children are diagnosed with asthma and Cystic Fibrosis. I am really enjoying it!

Hopefully I will be able to get pictures of Chicago posted soon. By the way, Lee is celebrating his 31st birthday tomorrow, and Cole will be turning 3 on the 27th. I can hardly believe how fast the time has flown. Happy Birthday to both of you, with much love.

Until then,
Sonya
